BVU has contributed leadership, funding, and collaboration to the development and expansion of Campus United, the United Church’s campus ministry in the Pacific Mountain Region, particularly at the UVic Multifaith Centre.

Through Campus United, students on campuses like UVic receive spiritual care, mentorship, LGBTQ+ inclusion and newcomer and international, BIPOC students empowerment, and opportunities to connect in faith—supporting their journey, nurturing their spirituality, and strengthening their sense of belonging within the United Church. This ministry helps create a campus culture of openness, welcome, and care and finding the Gospel of Jesus’ bold welcome and hospitality and God’s unconditional love.

Beyond UVic, BVU has also supported the launch of Campus United at the University of Northern British Columbia, helping to make this ministry possible through funding and support.
